Minnie Gertrude Midgett, 92, formerly of Norfolk, died Dec. 23, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Midgett was born in Manns Harbor, N.C., and was the widow of Sumner K. Midgett.
Survivors include three sons, Maxton M. Midgett of Virginia Beach, Sumner K. Midgett Jr. of Camden, N.C., and Arvon L. Midgett of Buies Creek, N.C.; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Bruce Tuttle. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
