James Anthony ``Fishead'' Edwards, of the first block of Lenox Ave., died Dec. 18, 1995, in a New York Hospital.
Mr. Edwards, a disabled veteran, was a native of Norfolk. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Edwards; three sons, Johnnie L. Edwards, Steven A. Edwards, and Kirk L. Hamm, all of New York; three sisters, Frena Edwards of Virginia Beach, Stephanie Edwards of Norfolk, and Gayneal D. Parris of Fredericksburg, Va.; a brother, Woolard Jay Edwards of Virginia Beach.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Graves Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Alfred Melton. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. There will be a wake service Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. The family will assemble at 1630 Diamond Springs Road, Apt. 201.
