Stan V. Kovar, 73, of the 100 block of Harbor Watch Drive, died Dec. 30, 1995, in Sentara Nursing Center, Chesapeake.
Mr. Kovar was born in Prague, Czech Republic, and was Episcopal by faith. He retired from KLM Airline.
Survivors include his wife, Doris R. Mavridis Kovar of Chesapeake; two daughters, Jana M. Connor of Chesapeake and Vera S. Kovar of Astoria, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Jan. 2 in St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Michael W. Jones. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service at noon at the church. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
