Rita A. Vaughan, 74, of the 600 block of White Chapel Road, died Dec. 28, 1995, in a Virginia Beach hospital. She was a native of Chicago.
She is survived by her husband, William Melton Vaughan; daughter, Mary L. Vaughan-Moffatt of Nashville, Tenn.; four sons, William R. Vaughan of Chesapeake, Richard M. Vaughan of Bergen, Holland, Joseph K. Vaughan of Pullman, Wash., Roger T. Vaughan of Virginia Beach; sister, Marion James of Richmond, Va.; brother, Robert Woll of Downers Grove, Ill.; six grandchildren, Rubio and Zaou Vaughan, Jaime and Michael Vaughan, Corianna and Greyson Vaughan-Moffatt.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, by the Rev. Joyce Kramer in Unity Church of Tidewater. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to one's favorite charity. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is in charge.
