Lina Brett Carroll, a retired clerk for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, died Dec. 30, 1995, in Chesapeake.
She was a native of Lawrenceville, Va., and was the widow of Harrison D. Edwards. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church, a former toastmistress and a member of the Portsmouth Women's Club.
Survivors include her daughter, Janet and husband, Franz Weigl of Egg Harbor Township, N.J.; and grandson, Brett Weigl of Madison, N.J.
The graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Olive Branch Cemetery. Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, is in charge.
