THOMAS S. WILLIAMSON JR.

Thomas S. Williamson Jr., 87, of the 1500 block of Pearl Loop and formerly of the 7000 block of Gardner Drive, Norfolk, died Dec. 19, 1995, in Albuquerque, N.M.

Mr. Williamson, the widower of Margaret G. Williamson, was a retired commander in the U.S. Navy. He served for 30 years. He was a native of Davidson, N.C., and a member of First Lutheran Church, Norfolk. He was a member of Retired Officers Association and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and Korea.

Survivors include a son, Thomas S. Williamson III of Bosque Farms; a daughter, Laura P. Zeitlin of Highland Park, Ill.; three grandchildren, Thomas S. Williamson IV, Natalie W. Morris, and Pamela Goldstein; two great-granddaughters, Jacquelin Morris and Whitney Morris; a daughter-in-law, Joann Williamson of Bosque Farms.

A memorial graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by Dr. James Cobb. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is in charge.
