Susie M. Worrell, 68, of the 5300 block of Silvey Drive, died Jan. 1, 1996, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
She was a housewife and a native of Murfreesboro, N.C. She was the widow of Eddie Worrell and was a Baptist.
She is survived by four daughters, Gloria Mosely, Susie Worrell, Adrienne Worrell, all of Norfolk, and Barbara Holloway, of Virginia Beach; two sons, Lindsey Worrell and Eddie Worrell Jr., both of Norfolk; two sisters, Annie Stephenson of Maryland and Nora Stephenson of California; a brother, Claude Stephenson of Norfolk; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Anthony E. Moses in Hale Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk. Family and friends will assemble at the home of the daughter, Susie Worrell, 2711 Colson Place, Roberts Park, at noon for the procession to the chapel.
