Rahelbai Shamsundar Samudre, 71, a native of India, died Jan. 2, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Samudre, the widow of Shamsundar Samudre, is survived by nine children, Sudha, Suresh, Suhasini, Surekha, Sulbha, Satish, Sudhir, Sunil, Meena; and 20 grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. W. Thomas Wood. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
