FLORENCE B. GLEE

Florence B. Glee, of the first block of Louder Court, died Jan. 2, 1996, in Maryview Hospital, Portsmouth.

Mrs. Glee, the widow of Horace Glee, was a native of Charleston, S.C. She was a member of Mount Hermon Baptist Temple Church, Portsmouth, and the Ladies Usher Board (NU)1, and Elizabeth Boone Missionary Society. She was a member of Martha Tent Chapter (NU)34, Independent Order of Tents, Twilight Savings Club and Senior Citizens.

Survivors include two daughters, Helen G. Jenkins of Portsmouth, Florence Cannady of Newport News; two grandsons; two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and a special friend, Catherine Thompson of Norfolk; and other friends.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Mount Hermon Baptist Temple Church by the Rev. George Henry and the Rev. Leon J. Boone. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at noon today. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Saturday.
