Rahelbai Shamsundar Samudre, 71, a native of India, died Jan. 2, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Samudre, the widow of Shamsundar Samudre, is survived by nine children, Sudha, Suresh, Suhasini, Surekha, Sulbha, Satish, Sudhir, Sunil and Meena; and 20 grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. W. Thomas Wood. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
