Lindsey Carol Bradish, 43, a postal worker, died Jan. 4, 1996, in a motor vehicle accident.
Mrs. Bradish was a native of Southport, England, and a former member of the Church of England. As a breast cancer survivor, she remained active in the community as a volunteer with Lee's Friends and other cancer support groups. She was also an avid fan of the Washington Redskins and the Manchester-United Football Club in Manchester, England.
Survivors include her father and mother, William and Sheila Ashcroft; a brother, Michael Ashcroft, all of London, England; an aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. William Fowler of Southport; and her fellow postal workers and many other loving friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at noon Tuesday, Jan. 9, 1996, in Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Carol Weir. The family will receive friends in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the S.P.C.A. or Lee's Friends.
