I wish our leaders in Washington would do their job and pass a budget. Instead, they talk big.
They say they will spend as much time as it takes to get a budget passed, then they take the day off for New Years.
This budget should have been negotiated before October. Our leaders are not doing the job they have been elected to do.
Many federal workers had to cancel vacations, while others were told to stay at home. Will the government again pay the employees for not working? If it does, that is a waste of money and unfair to all who worked during that time.
Our leaders cannot even run our country, yet go sticking America's nose into another country's business.
I hope for some changes come November.
