Harry M. ``Jack'' Swendsen, 76, formerly of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Holiday Island, N.C., died Jan. 5, 1996, in Virginia Beach.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Victoria; three daughters, Suzanne Check of Virginia Beach, Janet Franz of Bangor, Maine, and Kristen Bates of Ocean Springs, Miss.; son, Stephen Swendsen of Palmyra, Mich.; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Ann Arbor, Mich. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
