Matilda N. Hainer, 70, of the 7400 block of N. West Fifth Place, died Jan. 3, 1996, in her home.
Mrs. Hainer was a native of Brooklyn, N.Y. She was an active member of ORT and Bnai Brith Womens Organization in Florida.
Survivors include Ruby and Bill Schwarzschild of Virginia Beach; Bruce and Carol Hainer of Atlanta, Ga.; Arthur and Diane Hainer of Germantown, Md. and seven grandchildren, Joe, Barry, Robert, Lee, Paul, Craig and Anne Marie.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk by Rabbi Arthur Ruberg and Cantor Jacob Tessler. The family will be sitting shivah Monday evening begining at 7 p.m. at 116 64th St. Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a chairity of choice. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
