MARGARET M. SCULLY

Margaret M. Scully, 69, of the 8500 block of Chapin St., died Jan. 5, 1996.

She was a native of South Amboy, N.J., and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She was a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Fleet Reserve Association Ladies Auxiliary and Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, U.S. Navy retired, Joseph A. Scully; five daughters, Madonna Van Curen of Kitty Hawk, N.C., Joann Mathison of Chesapeake, Inez Crump and Sharon Darby, both of Norfolk, and Veronica Dudley of Javisburg, N.C.; one son, Joseph A. Scully of Orlando, Fla.; two sisters, Rita Clement of Fords, N.J., Ann Balla of Mariners Cove, Millsboro, Del.; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by Father Patrick Doody. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. A reception will be held at the VFW Post 3160 in the Ocean View section of Norfolk immediately following the burial.
