Larry Gene Dedmon, 46, of the 3900 block of Hillwood Drive, died Jan. 6, 1996, in Sentara Nursing Home.
He was a Baptist and a native of Portsmouth.
He is survived by two sons, Larry Gene Dedmon Jr. and Andrew Shawn Dedmon, both of Portsmouth; mother, Mary H. Dedmon; father, Charlie B. Dedmon, both of Portsmouth; sister, Annette Dedmon St. Clair of Portsmouth; three brothers, Charles Dedmon of Chesapeake, Kenneth Dedmon of Portsmouth and Daniel Dedmon of Currituck, N.C. He was predeceased by a brother, Ricky Lynn Dedmon.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Loving Funeral Home Chapel, Churchland. Burial is in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. There will be a visitation this evening from 7 to 8 p.m.
