Delia Rodgers Murden, 80, died Jan. 6, 1996, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
She was a native of Norfolk and was the widow of Rennie James Murden. She was a member of South Norfolk Congregational Christian Church, Chesapeake. She also was a member of Pythian Sisters Temple (NU)3, Norview Chapter (NU)131 and Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by a daughter, Rene Murden of Virginia Beach. She was preceded in death by a brother, Murrill N. Rodgers.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday by the Rev. James Higgins in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel. Burial is in Rosewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home today from 3 to 4 p.m. The family will be at the daughter's home. Memorial donations should be made to the Kempsville Rescue Squad, P.O.
