Frank Davis Luck III, 68, of the 1500 block of Magnolia Ave., died Jan. 5, 1996, in a local hospital.
Mr. Luck was born in Richmond, Va., and at the age of 6, his family moved to Norfolk. He was a retired advertising director and senior vice president of Nations Bank. He was a member and former junior warden of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Norfolk. He attended Hampden-Sydney College and Virginia Commonwealth University. Mr. Luck was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Hermitage Foundation and served on its Norfolk Historical Videos Committee.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Hardin Luck; two daughters, Lauriston Luck Crow of San Francisco, Calif., and Susan Luck Sampson of Manhattan Beach, Calif.; a grandson, Edward Moore Sampson; his mother, Lillian S. Luck of Washington, N.C.; a sister, Bettie Luck Gunn of Washington, N.C.; and a niece, Carole Frances Gunn of Washington, N.C.
A church service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at St. Paul's Episcopal Church by the Rev. Hugh C. White III. Entombment will be in the church's columbarium. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association of Virginia, or the Hermitage Foundation, 7637 N. Shore Rd., Norfolk, Va., 23505. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, in charge of the arrangements.
