WALLED OUT

As a longtime resident of Hampton Roads, I am dismayed at the proliferation of sound-barrier walls along I-64 from Chesapeake to Hampton.

Especially offensive are those walls obstructing views of the waters that make our area unique. A while back, local communities were seeking a postmark which would be representative of the region. I have an idea; how about ``Tidewaller,'' Virginia.
