AMERICA'S GAME STRIKES OUT IN TRIAL'S JURY POOL

Baseball the national pastime? Perhaps not anymore.

Consider the Glenn Davis jury: Of the 23 men and woman in the jury pool, only five said they are baseball fans. Three root for the Baltimore Orioles, Davis' former team. One roots for the New York Yankees. One just follows sports in general.

Incidentally, one of the Orioles fans, a woman, found that wasn't a strike against her. She ended up on the jury.
