Robert Joseph ``Bobby Joe'' Dunlow, 59, of 109 W. Askewville St., died Thursday, Jan. 11, 1996, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
He was a native of Bertie County, and a member of the Askewville Baptist Church. Mr. Dunlow was a graduate of the apprentice program and retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was a partner in D & W Peanut Co.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Mizelle Dunlow; three sons, Joseph Neal Dunlow, Mickey Dunlow, Robert Maxwell Dunlow, all of Chesapeake; two sisters, Anna D. Spain of Chesapeake, Maxine D. Mizelle of Windsor; eight grandchildren, Jacob, Zachary, Ethan, Devyn, Mason, Caitlin, Courtney and Conner.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in the Askewville Baptist Church by the Rev. Freddie Harris. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery. Walker Funeral Home is in charge.
