I am upset about the letters concerning bad service a few people have received from the U.S. Postal Service.
I think it is time to thank the postal workers who did work their butts off during the holiday season.
Mail during the Christmas season may be delayed. This year some of our bigger cities had snowstorms that made moving the mail even harder.
I am the wife of a letter carrier. I may be biased, but my husband and a lot of his co-workers hustle making sure the mail gets out.
There are a few problems in the Postal Service. I've even had some of my mail delayed or not show up at all. But there has always got to be someone who makes everyone else look bad.
Many people don't realize what postal workers have to put up with. A few late letters shouldn't condemn the whole Postal Service.
I did my share of complaining until I saw my husband walking his route lugging a mail bag that I could not lift. I now have the utmost respect for the job done by he and his co-workers.
