GRAHAM WORRELL

Graham Worrell, 74, of 103 Seminole Trail, died Monday, Jan. 15, 1996, in his home.

Mr. Worrell was born in Gates County. The son of the late Walter R. and Mrs. Euna Belle Speight Worrell, he was retired from the U.S. Coast Guard. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Harold Treakle Memorial Post (NU)993 of the VFW and Bandon Chapel Church.

Surviving are his wife, Edith Hoggard Worrell of Portsmouth; sister, Ola Mae Rountree of Portsmouth; two brothers, George E. Worrell of Virginia Beach and Bobby Worrell of Edenton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Middle Swamp Baptist Church, Gates County, by the Rev. Ed Earnhardt and the Rev. U.G. Robertson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, in charge of the arrangements. Friends may join the family at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and other times at the residence. The family will assemble at the church at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
