Lendora Lawson, of the 1300 block of Hollister Ave., died Jan. 15, 1996, in a local hospital.
She is survived by her mother, Selma Morning of Norfolk; father, James Combs of Williamston, N.C.; twelve sisters, Valerie Smith, Sheila Smith, Kacelia Combs, Sonia Crandell, all of Williamston, N.C., Gail Stanley of Ahoskie, N.C., Shavonne Sisco of Baltimore, Marqinta Griffin of Stanford, Conn., Sandra Fields of Norfolk, Emma Ward of Greenville, N.C., Sharon Morning, Deborah Lee, Tonya Gordon, all of Norfolk; three brothers, Brian Purvis of Williamston, N.C., Willie Morning and Eric Morning, both of Norfolk; and an uncle, Willie Combs of Williamston, N.C.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday by the Rev. Allen R. McFarland in Calvary Evangelical Baptist Church. Friends may join the family at 346 Nicholson St., on the day of the service. Graves Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
