A Circuit Court judge sentenced a 59-year-old man Wednesday to 13 years in prison for shooting his son's roommate to death on the front porch of the duplex apartment they shared.
Judge Von L. Piersall upheld the jury's 1995 second-degree murder conviction and sentencing recommendation for Billy Lee Taylor, who was charged with shooting Gary Watts in the thigh and back during an argument in June 1994.
