Armed robbery, 1100 block of N. George Washington Highway, Maytag Laundry. While the attendant was counting money, an armed man demanded money. Description of suspect: black male, early 20s, 5-feet-9-inches, stocky build, long dreadlocks, wore a black stocking cap, black leather coat and blue jeans. Dec. 30.

Armed robbery, Bassett and Rodgers streets. The victim was riding his bike, when a beer bottle was thrown at him. The victim was cut off by a Toyota pickup, and his bike was taken. Three white males occupied the cab of the pickup. Three more white males were in the bed of the truck. Jan. 1.

Armed robbery, 400 block of Longdale Crescent. The victim was unloading his truck when an armed man demanded his wallet. The victim threw a suitcase at the suspect who then fled. The suspect was described as a black male wearing a ski mask and a dark sweat suit. Dec. 30.
