HOWARD D. DEVALL

Howard D. Devall, 75, of the 1000 block of Still Harbor Circle, died Jan. 17, 1996, in a Chesapeake hospital.

Mr. Devall, a retired manufacturing engineer, was a native of Casey, Ill. He was a member of Berkley Masonic Lodge Chapter (NU)167 A.F.&A.M., and Royal Arch Chapter (NU)46. He was past master twice of Dalzell Masonic Lodge in Illinois. Mr. Devall was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Noreen Devall; a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Dale Hardin of Virginia Beach; a sister, Faye Sherman of Illinois; two grandchildren, James Hardin and Heather H. Orr; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be private and at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Berkley Masonic Lodge, c/o Frank Hicks, 2040 Smith Ave., Chesapeake, Va. 23325, or to the American Lung Association. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, is in charge.
