MARGARET B. BRYANT

Margaret Boyd Bryant, 88, of 10067 Rainbow Road, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 1996, in Riverside Regional Medical Center, Newport News.

Mrs. Bryant, a native of Thompson, Ga., was a housewife. She attended Georgia State College for Women, Duke University, and the College of William and Mary. She taught the seventh grade for seven years in the Georgia Public School System. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Smithfield, and the Col. William Allen Chapter of the D.A.R.

Survivors include a daughter, Stella Bryant Borik of San Diego, Calif.; two sons, John H. Bryant III of Carrollton and Blanton F. Bryant Sr. of Bedford, Va.; a brother, James Wilson Boyd Sr. of Charleston, S.C.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Luke's Memorial Park, Smithfield, by the Rev. Macon B. Walton, vicar of Brandon Church, Burrowsville, and Christ Church, Waverly. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Christ Episcopal Church Building Fund, 111 S. Church St., Smithfield, Va. 23430. Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield, is handling the arrangements.
