Mr. Jetson Gregory ``Boss'' Jones, 39, of the 1300 block of East Tanners Creek Drive, died Jan. 22, 1996.
Mr. Jones, a shipping clerk, worked for Kempsville Building Materials. He was born in Norfolk to the late Claude Jones and was the son of Gladys Pope Williams.
Survivors include his wife, Alethea Denise Jones; six daughters, Chaneka R., Jessica C., Aleta C., Veronica A., Armelia D., Tesia M. Jones, all of Norfolk; three sisters, Jennifer C. Comer of Chesapeake, Claudine Smith of Richmond, Va., Marvette Jones of Norfolk; two brothers, Cornell ``Pete'' Jones of California, Glenn Jones of Chesapeake; grandmother, Georgie Taylor of Norfolk; grandfather-in-law, Rev. C.C. Pearson of Portsmouth; father-in-law, William M. Skinner of Portsmouth; mother-in-law, Cora Lee Skinner of Portsmouth; a sister-in-law, Belinda Skinner of Portsmouth; two brothers-in-law, Arnold and William Skinner, both of Portsmouth; stepfather, Herbert T. Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Riddick Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Clinton Brown. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday. The family will receive friends at Riddick Funeral Service from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday and at other times at the residence.
