Robert Brown, of the 1000 block of Widgeon Road, died Jan. 22, 1996 in DePaul Hospital.
Mr. Brown was born Jan. 25, 1918 in Gold Point, N.C. He retired from Birtcherd Dairy after 42 years of service. He was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Viola Brown of Norfolk; two sons, Clinton of Utah and Robert Jr. of Norfolk; four grandchildren; one nephew, Percy Brown Jr. of Norfolk; seven nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be held at noon on Saturday, Jan. 27, 1996 in Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Norfolk, with the Rev. John Davis presiding. Burial in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will assemble at the residence on the day of service. The body will also be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Graves Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
