NO ADMIRALS IN ECHL ALL-STAR GAME

The North Division rallied from a 3-0 deficit to beat the South 10-7 Tuesday night in the ECHL All-Star Game before an announced crowd of 5,576 in Tallahassee, Fla.

No members of the Hampton Roads Admirals played.

Trevor Halverson, once the leading scorer in the ECHL and an All-Star selection, is now with Las Vegas of the IHL.

Defenseman Chris Phelps, also selected, missed the game to stay with his wife and ill infant in Ottawa. Phelps called Admirals owner Blake Cullen before Wednesday's game against Richmond and said he would return to the team today.

In addition, 1994 All-Star Ron Pascucci, who had been with Portland, arrived at Scope during Wednesday's 8-6 loss to Richmond. He will be activated today and will play Friday against Roanoke.

Johnstown's Don Parsons, a late replacement for injured teammate Trevor Jobe, scored two goals and added an assist. He was voted most valuable player. by CNB
