Clement E. Southall Jr., 39, died Jan. 18, 1996, in Hungary. Mr. Southall, a sergeant in the U.S. Army, was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn A. Southall; two daughters, Heather L. Southall and Sarah N. Southall, both of Norfolk; his mother, Gladys Miles of Virginia Beach; a sister, Gayle Hardesty of Norfolk; two brothers, Jeffe Ray Southall of Norfolk and Robert Pledger of Kentucky.
A graveside service will be conducted with full military honors at 2 p.m. Monday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by Army Chaplain Thompsen. The family will receive friends in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
