MARIAN L. WAYMACK

Marian Louise Waymack, 47, formerly of Chesapeake, died at home with her family Thursday, Jan. 25, 1996, in Portsmouth.

Mrs. Waymack was born in Norfolk and was the daughter of the late Douglas Gentry and Alice Polland. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Mennonite Church in Chesapeake and the World Affairs Council of northern California. She had attended Monterey Peninsula College and was a member of Alpha Gamma Sigma Honor Society.

Survivors include her husband, Daniel Gene Waymack of Macomb, Ill.; her daughter, MaryAnn Jones of Portsmouth; her sons, Tommy Galbreath and John Galbreath, both of Chesapeake; her sister, Denise Barton of Brevard, N.C.; her brothers, Phillip Peachey Sr. of Pantego, N.C., and Joe Polland of Portsmouth; and five grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 29, 1996, at Mt. Pleasant Mennonite Church by the Rev. Harold Bergey. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
