Imogene Walker Dozier, 63, of 1523 South King St., died Friday, Jan. 26, 1996, at her home.
She was a native of Zuni, Va., a member of Cashie Baptist Church and the owner of the Windsor Motel for 36 years.
Survivors include her husband, Wallace Vernon Dozier; two sons, Vernon Leigh Dozier and Scott Miles Dozier, both of Windsor; her mother, Mary Catherine Walker of Windsor; her brother, Lowell Walker of Windsor; four grandchildren, Tonyia Foy, Heather Dozier, Christopher Dozier, and Holden Dozier. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles T. Walker, and a brother, Jerry H. Walker.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m Sunday in Edgewood Cemetery by the Rev. Jack Byrd. The family will receive friends at their home. Memorial gifts may be made to the Roanoke-Chowan Hospice, P.O. Box 272, Ahoskie, N.C. 27910. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home, Windsor.
