Ralph Edward Taylor, 67, of the 500 block of Windsor Gate Road, died Jan. 26, 1996, in a local hospital.
Mr. Taylor, a retired machinist mate, was in the U.S. Navy for 23 years. He was a native of Massachusetts and a member of First Order of U.S. Navy Seals, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Cecilia Taylor; three daughters, Frances Elliott of Elizabeth City, N.C., and Brenda Taylor and Sherri Stocks of Virginia Beach; two sisters; four brothers; and seven grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, by Capt. William R. May, U.S. Navy. Burial is in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Monday to greet friends. Military honors will be rendered.
