Morton Nitzburg of the 4100 block of Laurel Green Circle died Jan. 26, 1996, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mr. Nitzburg was a former member of Temple Israel in Norfolk. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Nitzburg of Virginia Beach; two daughters and a son-in-law, Karen and Richard Smith of Richmond and Joanie Nitzburg of Sunrise, Fla.; two grandsons, David and his wife, Felicia Smith, of Virginia Beach, and Jonathan Smith of Richmond; and a niece, Abbie Rosenfield of Richmond.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Sunday in Woodlawn Memorial Garden, ``King David Section.'' Rabbi Richard Smith will officiate.
Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
