Eva Mae Freeman

NORFOLK - Eva Mae Freeman, 78, of the 400 block of New York Ave., died Feb. 3, 1996, in her home.

She was born in Princess Anne County and was the widow of Willie Freeman. She was a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church and was retired from Sunlight Cleaners after 20 years.

Survivors include an adopted son, Robert L. Freeman of Norfolk; a brother, James Brockett of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren, Rashad Russell and Deborah Hall, both of Norfolk; a very special friend, Ashley Keyes of Norfolk; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two sons, James Hall and Ernest Hall, and her parents, Lillie and James Hall.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Hale Funeral Home by Bishop Anthony Moses. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. A wake service will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral chapel. Friends will assemble at the home at noon Wednesday for the procession to the chapel.
