Amelia M. Taylor, of the 4900 block of Erskine St., died Feb. 3, 1996.
Mrs. Taylor was retired after 30 years of service. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, where she was a choir member. She was also a member of United Order of Eastern Star Princess Anne Chapter (NU)27.
Survivors include her husband, Virgil E. Taylor of Virginia Beach; three daughters, Jacqueline Stevenson, Gloria Whitfield and Talmadge Jackson, all of Norfolk; a son, Ronald Taylor of Norfolk; two sisters, Ida Jack, Jessie Calloway, both of Detroit, Mich.; two brothers, Harry White of Maryland, and the Rev. Charles White of Dayton, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Ebenezer Baptist Church by the Rev. C.K. Jones. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
