The meeting will be held from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Norfolk Technical Vocational Center, 1330 N. Military Highway.
Officials from the city and the state Transportation Department are scheduled to provide information on the work and gather concerns people might have about the construction.
Meetings also will be held Wednesday and on Feb. 12 and 13, between 8:30 and 10:30 a.m.
The remaining meetings are scheduled for 3:30 to 5 p.m. Feb. 26, 27 and 28.
Two of Norfolk's largest water mains are scheduled to be replaced, and the intersection of Military Highway and Virginia Beach Boulevard will be overhauled.
