Regarding (MetroNews, Jan. 24): Michael Miller's comment about the VHDA determining how the proper family unit should be based is absurd. If I am financially qualified to receive a home loan, why must I be singled out if I am gay, engaged or a single parent? Is my money worth less to the VHDA than the money of an equally qualified person who happens to be married?
I have submitted to many of Virginia's primordial policies, but it is time to let our elected officials know that their moral overzealousness is not allowed in the chambers of government.
