VINCENT A. CROPPER

Chief Warrant Officer 2, Vincent Albert Cropper (Ret.) of the U.S. Navy, 75, formerly of Ocala, Fla., died Feb. 6, 1996, in a Chesapeake nursing home.

He was a native of Philadelphia and was retired from the civil service. He was a Catholic and was a retired Navy veteran of World War II and Korea. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart as a result of the sinking of the USS Walk.

He is survived by his wife, Annette J. Cropper; daughter, Patricia A. Marino of Virginia Beach; son, Dale V. Cropper of Falls Church, Va.; two sisters, Sister Dorothy Cropper of Rosemont, Pa., Jean Gray of Philadelphia; and five grandchildren.

A graveside service with full honors will be conducted at 9 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, 1996, in Arlington National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, Thursday from noon to 2 p.m.
