Rubie Lee Saied, 81, of the 100 block of Suburban Parkway, died on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
She was born in Atlanta, Ga., and was the widow of Charles Saied. She had retired after 20 years as a drug department salesperson at People's Drug Store. Mrs. Saied was a member of Zion Grace United Methodist Church, the Salvation Army Sunshine Group, and the Tabernacle Bible Study Group.
Survivors include her daughter, Nettie S. Fischer of Warren, N.J.; a son, Vernon Harrell of Norfolk; a sister, Kathleen Matheson of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, 1996, in the chapel of Cox Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to your local chapter of the American Red Cross.
