Margaret ``Carolyn'' Golden, 57, died Feb. 7, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Golden, a native of Norfolk, was retired from Pamper Cleaners. She was a member of Azalea Garden Church of God in Norfolk. She was very active in Young at Heart Senior Citizens Group of the church.
Survivors include her husband, Lester E. Golden; a daughter, Rhonda L. Cowan of Pasadena, Md.; three sisters, Virginia Eure of Norfolk, Jo Ann Jeffers of Roanoke, Va., Sharon Hammer of Yorktown; two grandchildren, Melissa A. Cowan and Christopher M. Cowan, both of Pasadena.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Azalea Garden Church of God by Pastor Aubrey D. Maye, Pastor Paul J. Eure and Pastor Tom Grinder. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association in memory of Carolyn Golden.
