Marvin Lee Hart, 76, of the 6000 block of Weslyn Drive, departed this life, after much suffering, on Feb. 5, 1996.
Many knew Elder Hart as ``The Shadow of David and the Bible Man,'' playing his harmonica for the masses to enjoy. He retired from Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority in October 1990 after 35 years of faithful service.
Survivors include his wife, Clarice Reid-Hart, and his daughter, Maria Indara Hart, both of the home.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Feb. 10, 1996, at The United House of Prayer for all People, 4426 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, at noon. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery. Riddick Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
