James Aubrey Brinn, 70, of Lynchburg, died Feb. 11, 1996.
Mr. Brinn was born in Swan Quarter, N.C. He was retired from General Electric and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was the widower of Thelma Pallette Brinn.
Survivors include two daughters, Teresa B. Mooe and Kimberly B. Smith, both of Lynchburg; four sisters, Elma B. Jones of Norfolk, Florence B. Spencer of Scranton, N.C., Ruby B. Cheekmore of Elizabeth City, N.C., and Margaret B. Walsh of Wisconsin; and one granddaughter.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, Virginia Beach. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2316 Atherholt Road, Lynchburg, Va. 24501.
