Raymond Lee Waters, 53, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 1996 in a Williamsburg hospital.
He was born in Spartanburg, S.C., and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Jean Waters; a daughter, Dawn Nix and a son, Derek Waters, both of Spartanburg; three stepchildren, Kim Schultz, of Belville, Ill., Sherry Gaskin of Lakeland, Fla., and Tracey Ingold of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Margaret Shropshire of Norfolk, Betty George of Spartanburg and Louise Lisenby; and eight grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Paul D. Moore. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today and at his sister's home, 8120 Diggs Road, Norfolk, at all other times.
