Nauticus and Chesterfield Academy of Math, Science and Technology have entered into a partnership designed to enrich the educational opportunities of the school's 485 students. Chesterfield Academy is the first elementary schoolwide magnet program in Norfolk.
``We selected Nauticus because of its emphasis on science and technology,'' said Dr. Kenneth E. Russell, coordinator for magnet schools in Norfolk. ``We think it's a nice match. This provides an opportunity to extend learning for our students by creating a richer educational environment.'' by CNB
