MARVIN WILSON

Marvin Wilson, of the 1000 block of Fentress Road, died Feb. 12, 1996.

He was retired from the Chesapeake School System. He was a member of New Weeping Mary Baptist Church, Chesapeake, where he was involved with the gospel choir, the male choir, and (NU)1 usher board. He was also a member of Masonic Lodge Willow Grove (NU)198.

He is survived by two sons, Richard W. Wilson of Newport News and Marvin Boggs of Chesapeake; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Walean Wilson; a sister-in-law, Cora Wilson; a devoted friend, Beulah Johnson; a godson, John Burke; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. John C. Smith in New Weeping Mary Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
