Lillian Anna Atkins, 84, formerly of Portsmouth, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Atkins, a native of Annapolis, Md., was the widow of John Wesley Atkins.
Survivors include a daughter, Eleanor Mae Edwards of Herrin, Ill.; three sons, James L. Atkins of Santa Rosa, Calif., Linwood A. Atkins Sr. of Norfolk and Louis P. Atkins of Petersburg, Va.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Phillip Wesley Atkins.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. today in Olive Branch Cemetery. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
