Joe Lee Lewis, 30, of the 1800 block of Cullen Ave., died Feb. 20, 1996.
Mr. Lewis, a brick mason and helper, was a native of Norfolk.
Survivors include his wife, Shawna Lewis of North Carolina; a son, Segio Wilson of Chesapeake; a stepson, Olando Duglas of Norfolk; his father, Langley Lewis of Suffolk; two sisters, Mary Ann Lewis and Lanore Hughley, both of Chesapeake; four brothers, Robert Lewis, Thomas Lewis, John Whitfield and Eugene Whitfield, all of Chesapeake; grandparent, Charlie Walker of Newport News; a special friend, Ronald Jackson; five aunts, Lucy Griffin of Norfolk, Frances Wyche, Addie Felton and Laura Bernard, all of Chesapeake, and Hester Smith of Suffolk; four uncles, Mead Woodson of Suffolk, and Wilbert Walker, Charlie Walker and Gilbert Walker, all of Chesapeake; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and a brother-in-law, Shawn Hughley of Chesapeake. He was predeceased by his mother, Mattie Lewis.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Pretlow and Sons' Funeral Home Chapel, Chesapeake. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake.
